Frankie has been sideline for around five months since injuring his right ankle in an El Clasico game against Real Madrid in mid-April, with the 27-year-old having been on palliative care as he does not want to undergo surgery as there is no guarantee of a full recovery.
Frankie reportedly returned to training with his team-mates for the first time in five months on Monday, although it was only a partial session, marking a UFABET significant step towards a return to action in the near future.
Barcelona doctors are understand to have given Frenkie the green light to return to action next week, potentially against Getafe on Wednesday, September 25 or Osasuna on Saturday, September 28, if the player can train fully this weekend.
The Dutchman felt very good and that is why he joined the group training on Monday, although he did not do all the exercises.
The next step will be for him to complete the full training session with the group, which could happen later this week.
And, if the former Ajax midfielder’s feelings continue to be good, the idea is that he can receive medical clearance next week and be include in the squad list, either in the midweek match against Getafe (25 Sept) or in the match against Osasuna (28 Sept).
