In a recent interview, Ranveer Singh opened up about sharing the screen space with his childhood hero Ajay Devgn.
Recently, Ranveer was quizzed about his working equation with Ajay. The actor reportedly stated that he is always fanboying when he is around. He is one of my screen idols. He said that it’s so refreshing to meet someone of his stature who is so grounded, humble and modest, so clear about the perspective he has. When he comes on set, the kind of aura he carries wherever he goes. To be collaborating with him It was like a mind trip for him. He couldn't believe that it's him and Ajay Devgn together. This thing even gave him goosebumps.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer will be seen next in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' along with Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin. The film is slated to release on 14th February.

Earlier, actor Ranveer Singh had also reportedly said that he would love to play the role of Taimur’s father later in his acting career.

Rohit Shetty brought together Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn for his latest film ‘Simmba’. Ajay appeared in a special role in the film and the action scenes between the ‘Singham’ star and Ranveer was definitely whistle-worthy.
Speaking about the atmosphere on the sets when the two powerhouse actors were together, Rohit reportedly revealed that the credit of breaking the ice between them goes to Ajay as it was him who made Ranveer comfortable.
The director also reportedly added that they had some serious action performance oriented scenes between both of them. Ajay took over and made the whole situation quite easy. After half an hour, Rohit recalled that they were behaving as though they were pals.
‘Simmba’ also stars Sara Ali Khan which happens to be the young actress’ second film in Bollywood after Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
4/59‘Simmba’ co-producer Karan Johar stopped the early release of the film for Shah Rukh Khan?
Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s much-awaited ‘Simmba’ finally released yesterday and received an overwhelming response at the box-office. As per the report, the film has made around Rs 20 crore-Rs 21 crore on its opening day in the cinemas.
Recently released Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ under-performed at the box-office, but the makers of ‘Simmba’ were keen on coming out with the film earlier in December. According to reports, the co-producer Karan Johar stepped in at the last minute and stopped the early release of the film.
The report states that Karan was against the plan of makers to prepone ‘Simmba’, he requested them not to go ahead with it.
‘Zero’ was directed by Aanand L. Rai featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan have paired up for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ which got released today. The movie is getting a positive response from the audience and mixed reviews from the critics.
In the film, Ranveer plays the role of a cop named Sangram Bhalerao where Sara plays his love interest. ‘Simmba’ is Sara Ali Khan's second Bollywood film. She made her debut this month with Abhishek Kapoor's ‘Kedarnath’ in which she stars alongside Sushant Singh Rajput.
At an event, Sara was questioned about her experience of romancing with Ranveer where she replied that it has been a very surreal experience and she is a die-hard Ranveer Singh fan. It's just been a dream to be able to share screen space with Ranveer, she added. Sara revealed that Ranveer is somebody who she has walked up to and asked for a selfie because she has never done that to anybody. Sara reiterated that she has never done that to even Hollywood stars, she hasn't even done with Amitabh Bachchan.
